an introduction...

Welcome to binglybongly.net, a home of positive, energising music of many genres.

binglybongly was established in 2001 to promote the physical, emotional and mental benefits of uplifting music. The original idea was to be a music compilation label, but somehow we ended up doing events instead!

Now we design and build audio-visual environments and programme positive, energising music for unique events.

Since we began, the team has excelled at everything we've done, from a regular Sunday chillout at the Spitz in Spitalfields market, to hosting rooms at the Synergy Project, an all-night festival in London's largest indoor venue, seOne London.

We DJ at venues of all sizes, decorate interiors and provide music, lighting and projections for corporate and community events, networking meetings, and private parties. We've also planned and built live stages at several London outdoor festivals.

some music...

Ahem! There's now some music on the site. Yes, after only four years of top-secret development you can actually hear some of the music that rings the binglybongly bell. Just click on the radio button on the top menu of any page. It's by people we know and have worked with. Tell us what you like, and/or send us some music for us to feature, thanks.

Also,
Mr Bongly has made a new mix, you can hear it here...

the synergy project...

Synergy:

The interaction or cooperation of agents, organisations etc to produce a new or enhanced effect compared to their separate effects.

The Synergy Project is an umbrella organisation that seeks to bring together a wide variety of organisations in the fields of cultural, environmental and development education to work together towards common goals, pooling expertise and resources to achieve a wider and deeper impact than they would otherwise in isolation.

-On the 24th November 2006, binglybongly hosted it's 3rd room at the Synergy Project at seOne in London Bridge. Here are some pics.

-On the 10th March 2006, binglybongly created a chillout room at the Synergy Project at seOne in London Bridge. Here are some pics.

the last event...

was... binglybonkers! at the 491 Gallery on New Year's Eve 2007:

In conjunction with the 491 Gallery, we did a family-friendly party with fun, dancing & shenanagans, happy vibes & happy people to see in the new year.

Downstairs featured binglybongly DJs, decor and visuals, a cafe serving wholesome snacks and a hot meal, with hot and cold drinks.

Weather permitting we'll also be using the gorgeous decorated garden with a fire pit.

Upstairs will be a no-smoking area for relaxing with chilled background music,
shared child-care, a sleepover space, plenty of things to do, and we'll even help the kids put on some entertainment for us!

People wishing to sleep over are welcome. (Monday night / Tuesday morning)

- admission by donation (£5 suggested).
Monday 31 December 8.00pm till 8.00am

about binglybongly music...

positive, energising music helps to alleviate the stresses associated with today's hectic existence. Stress, if it is not identified and relieved, gradually builds up in the body to a level where it's effects become physical and manifest themselves as dis-ease.

Music can alter your mood and outlook: music with a positive aspect can be used to "change your mind" and help you to cope with just about anything. The right kind of music can instill hope, optimism and the will to overcome even the bleakest of situations.

We are looking into links between music, well-being and good health, and some of our findings can be found in the wellbeing section of the site.
