It's all change here at binglybongly mansions, with renewed enthusiasm for all things positive and energising. There are two binglybongly events coming up, specially designed to put a big grin on your mush.

Our doctors of music have been out researching cures for those aches and pains in your brain and they still can't find anything better than our concoction of bonglyness! Time wethink for a repeat prescription! We have melodies for your mind, beats for your body, and syncopation for your soul, starting with...

"the good, the bad, and the bongly" at the Foundry on Saturday 2nd April 2005:
-   Why not witness a bit of the Shoreditch Saturday mayhem, then immediately escape to the safety of The Foundry and treat yourself to some great music and a friendly crowd at the good, the bad, and the bongly. You might like it...
-   Is it a bar? Is it a gallery? Is it a theatre? Erm, no its all of them and it's the ideal place for a bit of binglybonglyness. The Foundry has steadfastly dug its heels in and ignored the trend to go for chrome fixtures, leather sofas and the Shoreditch shuffle. In fact, it seems it's tried to put people off coming in altogether. And because of this, it attracts a colourful and friendly mix of bohemians, musicians, curious tourists, artists, anarchists and, of course, binglybongly DJs!

Mr bongly and Mr bounce (not necessarily in that order) will be conjuring up a swirling fusion of funky beats and visuals!

There's an outside bit with tables and chairs where you can chat with *anyone* or be moved along by a member of the local constabulary for blocking the pavement to the binglybongly beat.

-   You can find the Foundry by leaving Old Street at exit 3. It's at the apex of Great Eastern Street and Old Street. It'll be the building looking like a very untidy branch of a well-known bank, and dancing from side to side in a highly improbable manner with a big smile on its face like something from an eastern european children's cartoon.

-   It's free to get in. From 7pm till 11pm (Certificate 18)

then on Friday 29th April 2005 from 10pm till 8am...
-   binglybongly enters a new phase with a dance room at the the Synergy Project, an amazing all-night indoor festival taking place in our old stomping ground and favourite underground venue, the seOne Club, London Bridge.

London's most diverse, creative and progressive night returns with 4 rooms of eclectic multimedia from the cream of London's creative underground. With two rooms of dance music, wholefood cafes, healing, performance art, drama, poetry, drum circle and the friendliest of community vibes, Synergy is setting the new standard in post-commercial partying.

Synergy has now arrived Ð heralded by a growing number as the best party in London, if not the UK, for it's diverse creativity, high production standards, a friendly and relaxed, unpretentious crowd and for the constantly evolving nature of the project Ð no two Synergies are ever the same, with new organisations, artists and campaigners teaming up with veterans to produce inspiring new collaborations.

Above all, Synergy stands aside from the hedonism and consumption of conventional club-land with the ever present intent of raising awareness of contemporary environmental, social justice and spiritual issues, while generating a strong sense of purpose and a feeling of being part of something bigger, and more meaningful, than the isolated individual.

"Man is now the captain of spaceship earth, engendering a concept of ecology of earth, air, fire and water as an integral whole.

There are no more passengers, only crew" Marshall McLuhan

and finally...
-   Your True Feelings

Getting in touch with your true feelings is like learning to swim - once you have learned how to do it, you will never forget. Of course, if there are sharks around, knowing how to swim isn't going to help you very much.

(from the Little Book of Complete B*ll*cks by Alistair Beaton.)

That's it for now. All the best from everybody at binglybongly mansions.
