It's usual at this time of year for some of us at binglybongly mansions to light a fragrant candle and give thanks to the gods of umbrellas and snow-shoes respectively, because between them they've regularly saved our collective bacons from the elements.

Other deities we should be grateful to are the god and goddess of electricity and record players, because without them we'd look really rather silly at...

"the good, the bad, and the bongly" at the Foundry on Friday 25th February 2005:
-   If you don't know where it is, we've done a deal with a rather trendy jeans company to put an almighty great big billboard right above the Foundry to guide you there. Although negotiations have faltered somewhat over us asking for loads of £50 notes tied to end of fishing lines slowly being wound back into the Foundry to coax in unsuspecting passers by. Bah!

So come along and sway from side to side with a scarf and a bobble hat to the binglybongly beat.

-   If the big billboard is a bit too subliminal for you, you can always find the Foundry by leaving Old Street at exit 3. It's at the apex of Great Eastern Street and Old Street. It'll be the building dancing from side to side in a highly improbable manner with a big smile on its face like something from an eastern european children's cartoon.

-   It's free to get in. From 7pm till 11pm (Certificate 18)

on a more serious note...
-   binglybongly directions

Well, the new year now seems to be well underway, and we're facing new challenges and opportunities. What has binglybongly got in store and what's in store for binglybongly you may ask?

Well, we've had a long hard look at how to pay the rent etc, and our experience of doing business and community events leads us into corporate event territory. So, we're getting in touch with party and event companies to offer them binglybongly music for all kinds of audiences.

Then there's our own events. Eighteen months at the Spitz was a very rewarding time, and it helped us to create our identity and make our mark. After that we did our own nights at London Bridge, and two or three very successful one day events around Shoreditch.

Now we're looking to collaborate, to do binglybongly rooms within larger parties and festivals, starting on Friday 29 April with a dance room at the Synergy Project (http://www.thesynergyproject.org/). This all-nighter takes place in our old stamping ground and favourite underground venue, the seOne Club.

In the meantime we'll be doing as many parties, festivals, weddings and barmitzvahs as we can get our hands on to make sure we keep alive the flame of binglybonglyness!

and finally...
-   Exploring

The biggest and most exciting region left to discover is the uknown territory of your mind. Explore your mind. (Leave a note with friend or neighbour with details of where you're heading.)

(from the Little Book of Complete B*ll*cks by Alistair Beaton.)

That's it for now. All the best from everybody at binglybongly mansions.
