There are some dates in history on which something so huge happens that it changes the world for ever. Nothing ever seems the same again. You remember exactly what you were doing when you heard the news. One such date is the 17th December. Amazing things happened. Orville and Wilbur Wright made the first flight in a heavier-than-air plane at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina in 1903. Elton John took off his spangly top hat, revealing a full head of golden shoulder length hair in 1994 and...

"the good, the bad, and the bongly" at the Foundry on Friday 17th December 2004:
-   If you don't know where it is, we've done a deal with a big drinks company to put an almighty great big billboard right above the Foundry to guide you there. Although negotiations have faltered somewhat over us asking for an enormous siren and a big metallic binglybongly robot arm encouraging people in. Bah!

So come along and sway from side to side with a wry smile on your face like somebody's uncle at a wedding to the binglybongly beat.

-   If the big billboard is a bit too sublimal for you, you can always find the Foundry by leaving Old Street at exit 3. It's at the apex of Great Eastern Street and Old Street. And it'll be the smiley building dancing from side to side in a highly improbable manner like something from an old Czechoslovakian children's cartoon.

-   It's free to get in. From 7pm till 11pm (Certificate 18)

The Foundry  86 Great Eastern Street  London EC2A 3JL

and finally...
-   Ownership

Your body belongs to you and not to anyone else. Don't let anyone borrow it unless you want it to be borrowed. If someone does borrow it, insist that they bring it back on time.

(from the Little Book of Complete B*ll*cks by Alistair Beaton.)

That's it for now. Compliments of the season from everybody at binglybongly mansions.
