Hello and welcome to the 19th binglybongly newsletter. First of all, we'd like to thank everyone who came to Deep Down & Bongly and contributed to such a great evening. We'll certainly be doing another one in the new year. In the meantime if you have anything to say about it, please drop us a line, we'd love to hear from you. All good things, as they say, must come to an end, or in this case, a middle. Sunday November 16th will be our last party at the Spitz, as we've all decided it's time to move on to pastures new. Many thanks to everyone at the Spitz for helping us to have so much fun.
Come and join us this Sunday as we say a fond farewell to the Spitz and the end of an era, and hello to the start of a new one.
The binglybongly medieval wagon trundles over hill and dale scattering honking geese as it goes. Suddenly, our faithful horse's ears prick up as she hears a distant fanfare from Camelot's beflagged turrets on the horizon...
The VERY LAST binglybongly Sunday party at the Spitz is "binglybonglye musicke" on Sunday 16th November 2003:
|
Our knights and maidens in shining armour, Abbi, Fang, Vicks, Wayne & Ginger have thumbed their noses in the face of certain death, smirked admiringly at many a blushing bride/groom and have been downright uncivil to fire breathing dragons to bring you all sorts of music to maketh you raise your creaky drawbridge and put a nice shine on your Round Table.
So, grabbe your lutes and your curly-toed minstrel boots with bells on the end and jingle-jangle your way to the Spitz, for 'tis verily the perfect soundtrack for your Sunday... |
|
We've got all sorts of music to make you burst through the banqueting hall doors and leap excitedly up on to the table, and shout "The vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true!", or maybe not. |
|
Immerse yourself in the magical interior by Fabricate, point and cry "forsooth!" at the visuals by binglybongly and igloo, try some live percussion or have a holistic massage. You might liketh it... |

and finally...
| The Music of Life
Let your life be filled with music. Install a speaker in your bathroom, so you can listen to your favourite CD in the bath. Take a walkman or portable CD player with you when you travel. Listen to the harmony of the spheres while shopping. Sing extracts from La Bohème to the checkout girl at the supermarket. Hum your favourite tune while eating in a restaurant. Whistle cheerfully during sexual intercourse.
(from the Little Book of Complete B*ll*cks by Alistair Beaton.)
