An astronomically huge hello!

I don't know if you've noticed but Mars has just popped that little bit closer to see what all the fuss is about on planet earth. Well, just as long as he comes in peace and he's wearing his binglybongly badge, he's always welcome. Perhaps it could be something to do with all the activity on the launch pad at cape binglybongly...

-   For example, the binglybongly messageboard is positively hubbub with conversation and recently posed such varied questions as: "What does the number 5 taste of?" or "Who's the nicest famous person you've ever met?" and "When did you last see your trousers?" (- OK, I made up the last one). It's now up and running, and champing at the bit waiting for your thoughts and answers.

-   Also we're excited to announce an all night extravaganza at the SEone Club for Friday 31st October - look out for more news on this soon.

In the meantime, we think we've just discovered the perfect cure for troublesome asteroids...

The Globular Nebula comes slowly in to view through the porthole of the binglybongly spaceship. Our galactic roadmap has the Spitz clearly marked with a flashing neon arrow and we're coming in to land...

The NEXT binglybongly party is "binglybongly music" at the Spitz on Sunday 21st September 2003:
-   Our eternal stargazers, Abs, Fabs, Vicks and Antnee have successfully darned the tear in the space-time continuum with the trusty binglybongly needle and thread to bring you all sorts of music that'll put a futuristic pelvic thrust in your sequined spacesuit and some nitro-glycerine in your musical jet-pack.

So, put down your orgasmatrons, tighten your asteroid belt and teleport your musical molecules to the Spitz this Sunday.

We've got all sorts of music to make you leap up onto a wobbly spaceship control panel and do a moon-walk dance routine with a someone wearing a silver suit and a colander on his head pretending to be an alien very much like in a early episode of Doctor Who kinda way - or maybe not.

-   Sunday the 21st of September 2003 - 4pm to 10.30pm

Free before 5pm then admission £4.00 or £3.00 with a binglybongly badge!

Come early to make the most of it!

The Spitz, 109 Commercial Street, Old Spitalfields Market, London E1
Nearest tubes: Liverpool Street/Aldgate East.

You can download and print the flyer from our web site as an Adobe PDF or as an image.

Lastly, here's a snippet of topical advice for you until next month:
-  Your computer's crashed? Your hard disk may be suffering from a cosmic imbalance, or 'virus'. Restore your computer to health by taking the following steps:

1. Place a healing crystal on top of your VDU
2. Clear your PC's negative aura by lighting a joss stick
3. Reinvigorate your mouse by massaging it with essential oils
4. Energise your CD Rom drive by intoning ancient Hindu mantras
5. Buy a new computer.

(from the Little Book of Complete B*ll*cks by Alistair Beaton.)

-   That's all for now.
