Hello !

Lots of things have happened since our last email. Take, for example, the Long Good Saturday - what a marvellous day it was. The rain stayed away, the sun came out and the vibe was happy & relaxed. Thanks to everyone who helped to put it all together and to take it all apart again. If you have any photos of the day, please send them to us and we'll gladly put them up on the web site. In the meantime, why not have a look at some of the photos we took and tell us what you think?

The Goode Shippe Binglybonglye has just dropped anchor off The Cape of Goode Hope and our trusty cabin boy has blown the duste off ye olde map to find an 'X' marking the spot...

The NEXT binglybongly party is "binglybongly rhythms" at the Spitz on Sunday 20th July 2003: * (It's the last one before we take a summer break) *
-   Our jolly jacktars Becks, Paul Hamilton and Antnee, under the guiding hooked hand of Captain Fang, have dodged the hypnotic sirens and vanquished the winged sea serpents to bring you sublime melodies sprinkled with rare spices, and copious bejewelled beats prized open from Davey Jones' musical watery locker. So, grab your sequined eye patches and polish your wooden legs, and plunge yourself headlong into our cool briney mix of music and motion. The perfect soundtrack for your Sunday.

Immerse yourself in the magical interior by Fabricate, point and cry "hello sailor!" at the visuals by binglybongly and igloo, try some live percussion or have a holistic massage. You might like it...

-   Sunday the 20th of July 2003 - 4pm to 10.30pm

Free before 5pm then admission £3.00 or £2.50 with a binglybongly badge!

Come early to make the most of it!

The Spitz, 109 Commercial Street, Old Spitalfields Market, London E1
Nearest tubes: Liverpool Street/Aldgate East.

You can download and print the flyer from our web site as an Adobe PDF or as an image.

-  Another little preview of things to come from our first compilation album, set for release one fine day on the binglybongly music label.

Finally, "upbeat & bongly" on Thursday 3rd of July was our last. This has come about due to changes at the Elbow Room. We'd like to thank everyone concerned for their enthusiasm and help, and I'm sure we'll be seeing you all again soon. In the meantime we're lining up new venues for the autumn - watch this space!
-   That's all for now.

If you have any comments about anything in this bulletin, drop us a line via our message board. Why not email us a picture of yourself wearing a binglybongly badge in a far flung corner of the planet? We'll try not to get too jealous and the best image will win the sender a pre-release version of our new binglybongly T-shirts.

All the best from everyone at binglybongly mansions

This bit is about us:

-   binglybongly productions works to help alleviate, through uplifting music, the stresses associated with today's lifestyles. Some music has the ability to alter your mood in a positive way, which can help you to deal with seemingly overwhelming problems. Good music touches everyone, and we want to make it easier for people to hear the interesting and upbeat music we believe can improve the quality of life.

We’d love to hear from you if you have any recommendations of music that inspires you. You can also post ideas and talk with other people on our online forum.

As well as producing top quality upbeat music events and compilations, we are researching the connection between music and well-being and good health. We will be providing this information via the wellbeing section of the web site.

We are covering topics such as how to survive stress at work, coping with exams, relationships, families etc. and we’ll publish advice, tips, articles and interviews that we gather. A library of all published material will be maintained on the site. If you have something to say about how music has helped you in any way, please get in touch.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, comments or would like to get involved we’d love to hear from you. You can reply to this mail or email us at info@binglybongly.net, call us on 020 7739 7661, or visit our web site.
